I use this blog to write things about music that I have listened to and enjoyed, and music that I am in the process of writing. I am interested in listening to free improvisation and jazz, as well the work of various modern composers of minimalist/post-minimalist music and formalized music.
Artists and composers that have had particular impact on the way I do music are Ornette Coleman, Morton Feldman, Iannis Xenakis, John Coltrane, and Frank Zappa.
